This is my personal 1994 North American Specification (NAS) Defender 90, owned for roughly a decade and garage-kept in a temperature-controlled environment for most of its life. It is a solid, mechanically sorted, well-upgraded Defender with the right driveline, gearing, suspension, and classic Arles Blue color collectors look for.
I’m asking $85,000, and I’m open to reasonable offers. Lowball offers or pricing debates aren’t something I’m entertaining — serious buyers know what this truck is.

Normal small dings and scratches for a 30-year-old Defender
These are minor items — nothing mechanical or structural.
The upside:
The truck features genuine Exmoor Trim heated seats, sourced from England
These are a significant comfort upgrade and uncommon on NAS trucks.
NAS Defender Rarity & Arles Blue Significance
The NAS Defender 90 was imported to the U.S. for only three years, in very limited numbers:
1994: 1,943 units (all soft tops)
1995: 1,190 units
1997: 2,800 units
Total: ~5,933 NAS D90s
They were the only factory-certified Defenders ever sold new in the U.S., built to meet American emissions and safety standards. When regulations changed in 1998, imports ended forever.
Arles Blue – A Rare Factory Color
Documented import data shows only 493 NAS Defender 90s were built in Arles Blue. Many have been repainted or heavily modified — original-color examples are rare and sought after, especially those with clean frames and strong mechanical upgrades like this one.

Deposits and Holding Policy
A $250 deposit is required to hold a vehicle for up to 7 days.
Deposits can be made via phone (credit card) or in person (cash or check).
Deposits are generally non-refundable, except under extenuating circumstances, at the discretion of D90 Auto Sales.
A restocking fee may apply in the event of a cancellation.
Payment and Shipping
We accept the following forms of payment:
Cash, certified check, or bank wire
Personal checks must clear before vehicle pickup
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or AmEx for deposits only
Shipping is available at the buyer’s expense unless otherwise arranged. Delivery times may vary. We are not responsible for any shipping delays or damage once the vehicle leaves our location.
Fees & Documentation
PA buyers are responsible for sales tax, title, registration, lien fees (if applicable), and a documentation fee.
Out-of-state buyers are responsible for a $324 doc fee and their home state sales tax.
A temporary tag is available for $65 and must be issued through a local notary.
All buyers must provide a valid driver's license and insurance prior to finalizing the sale.
